About Me
Hi! My name is John Henry. I’m a recent graduate of the University of California at Berkeley in Mathematics. Over the past few years, I’ve held several jobs: I’ve worked as a student supervisor at UC Berkeley’s famous Moffit Library; a Network Administrator at Rochdale Village, a 259 unit apartment complex; and the President of the Berkeley Student Cooperatives, a multi-million dollar non-profit housing organization. I even once worked as a intern in at Metropolitan West Capital Management in Los Angeles where I met Al Gore (well, I didn’t really meet him, he walked by my desk and I said “hey” and he said “hey”… you get the picture).
I have a number of different hobbies including programming; I’m proficient in a number of programming languages including C++, C#, HTML, PHP, SQL, Perl, Javascript, CSS, and Flash Actionscript which I have been using for over 10 years. You should check out my labs page to get an idea of some of the things that I have done.
Writing and illustration/graphic design are two of my other favorite hobbies. While I don’t have anything major to show at the moment, I hope to post something on my site pretty soon. Until then, you can check out my blog for witing samples. I hope to begin publishing short stories within the next few months.
